Violent crimes: Woman hospitalized after shooting

A woman has been rushed to a local hospital after shots were fired in Garland County, according to authorities. Arkansas police who deal regularly with violent crimes of this type responded to the call in the early morning of Dec. 29. So far, three people have been arrested in conjunction with the alleged attack, but the investigation is still ongoing as of this report. 

Violent crimes require intensive investigation of the facts

The Arkansas State Police have arrested a 27-year-old man who allegedly started a fire at a residence on Dec. 21 to cover up a child's death. They have charged the accused with the violent crimes of first-degree murder and arson. The accused had originally claimed that the gas explosion to the house was not any of his doing, according to police.

Violent crimes: Arkansas man charged with murder

A man accused of shooting another man 22 times has been arrested on homicide charges, according to local sources. Arkansas police in Baxter County arrested the 59-year-old man after he allegedly shot another boarding house resident. He was held on a $1 million bond, common for suspects in violent crimes, and was due in court as of Dec. 14. 

Violent crimes: Arkansas man charged with murder

A man police say fatally shot another man before attempting to shoot himself is being detained by officials. Arkansas police arrested the 34-year-old man after he allegedly attempted a murder-suicide in early November. As with most violent crimes, police are still investigating the particulars of this case, and according to the report, no court date has been announced. 

Violent crimes: 2 arrested in Arkansas

A man and a woman in Hot Springs have been placed under arrest as part of an ongoing homicide investigation, according to local sources. Arkansas authorities arrested the duo following the discovery of a deceased man police believe was the victim of foul play. As with most violent crimes, this case is under stringent investigation as of this report.
